Linda Meyers Tikalsky

Linda Tikalsky started skiing near Bishop, California located in the eastern Sierras.  She was a close friend of Jill Kinmont and was coached and influenced by Dave McCoy at Mammoth Mountain.

During her career she won 6 national championships in the downhill, slalom and combined.  From 1957 to 1961 she won 4 Roch Cup titles and the Harriman Cup.  She won the slalom Hannenkahm event in Kitzbuhel in 1960.  She was a member of two U.S. FIS teams and is a two time Olympian.

Following her competitive career she coached and volunteered on behalf of skiing, working on several committees and worked in the field of ski area risk management.
