Julie Parisien

Julie Parisien was a talented multi-event racer who was outstanding in several disciplines. Over a decade of competition she won medals at almost every level. In 1989 she was a bronze medalist in the Super G at the Junior World Championships. The following year she won the combined event at the U.S. Championships having medaled in the downhill and the slalom. During March of 1991 she won events at NorAm, Europa Cup and World Cup races. In 1993 she won a silver medal at the World Championships. Before her retirement in 1999 she had competed on three Olympic teams, had three U.S. combined titles, three World Cup victories and a World Championship silver medal. She had also enjoyed considerable success as a professional racer.
