William C. Marolt

Bill Marolt was a top skier who won three national titles, two for the downhill in 1963 and 1964 and the slalom title in 1964. It started in 1958 when he won the national junior title in the downhill and four years later swept all three men's events in the Roch Cup. He was also selected for the U.S. Olympic Team in 1964.
His competitive career led him into coaching and he took the University of Colorado ski team to seven consecutive NCAA titles from 1972 to 1979. He led the US Ski Team from 1978 to 1984 after which he returned to the University of Colorado as Athletic Director. He is currently the CEO of the USSA.
