Debbie Armstrong

Debbie Armstrong surprised much of the ski world with her gold medal performance in the Giant Slalom at the Olympic Winter Games in 1984.  She first attracted the attention of the U.S. Ski Team in 1980  when she won the national junior title in the GS at Squaw Valley.  She was a member of three FIS World Championship Teams and two Olympic Teams.  She was the national GS champion in 1987.  In 2004, she became a member of the PSIA Alpine Demonstration Team and serves as a ski ambassador for Taos Ski Valley.
